Bruce Knell
Founder / Singer / Songwriter
Has performed with many National acts such as Brooks&Dunn, Lonestar, Easton Corbin, Trick Pony, Rhett Akin, Darryl Singletary, Chad Brock, Joe Nichols, and many more.
Danielle Campbell
Vocals
American Idol contestant, made it all the way to Long Beach California round.
Ron Reed
I grew up in Casper, WY. I started playing trombone in school when I was eleven years old. At sixteen I shifted gears to an acoustic 6 string. I quickly realized electric guitar was more fun. I joined a band playing guitar, and soon realized the shortage of Bass players. And soon after we suffered a drummer shortage. So I bought a set of drums. I met my beautiful wife Tammy Lindsey at 21, and landed a job at a local power plant. We have enjoyed 38 wonderful years together. Tammy has put up with the music and all the drama the followed. We adopted a baby after 19 years of marriage. Today I belong to a fantastic group of entertainers. Eight Second Ride!
Amy Bloyd
An Illinois native, Amy studied classical violin and trumpet and played fiddle with her family’s bluegrass band as a child. Since then, she has performed in bands, small groups, and larger ensembles in a variety of musical styles including jazz, ska, dixieland, classical, and bluegrass. After retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard, she was finally able to choose where to live and permanently relocated to Casper, Wyoming, where she joined Eight Second Ride and continues to pursue her interests in music, horses, skiing, and motorcycles.
Guy Selvey
Bassist, guitar, mandolin, trombone.
Played all over the country with a lot of bands on the regional stage. Well known asshole.
Michael Shelley
Drummer
From Riverton Wyoming, studied percussion performance at the University of Wyoming. He has played with and toured with some of the greatest jazz and symphonic musicians of our time. Prior to returning to his hometown of Riverton, he was a resident musician in Las Vegas playing with several shows and acts on the strip and surrounding areas.
Sam Patton
Rhythm guitar and backing vocals.
Avid 12-string player since 1973. I've enjoyed exploring Folk, Country, Rock, Gospel genres. Inspirations include Gordon Lightfoot, Steven Stills, Jim Croce, Rik Emmett among others. "Music holds the secret to know it can make you whole.
